P3 Potentiometer: Current Limiting Expertise

With its default configuration automatically reducing output voltage when CT voltage exceeds 4VDC, it keeps it below this threshold. Users can finely tune the P3 setting according to specific field conditions for ultimate performance.
P4 Potentiometer: Phase Determination Precision
The P4 potentiometer is crucial for precise phase determination. Factory adjusted for peak performance, it should remain untouched to avoid false triggering, ensuring consistent and accurate operation.

P5 Potentiometer: Amplification Mastery
The P5 potentiometer excels in amplification prowess, expertly converting an AC 0-100mA current signal into a DC 0-4V voltage, recognized as CT voltage. The factory default is set at 100mA equivalent to 4V, but it can be finely adjusted on-site for specific requirements, such as:
Load Current Selection and Transformer Configuration
1. For a load of 100A: Employ a 100A/100mA transformer to achieve a precise 4VDC
2. For a load of 150A: Opt for a robust 200A/100mA transformer to ensure a precise 3VDC for optimal performance.
In the first scenario, there's no need to adjust the P5 potentiometer. However, in the second scenario, fine-tuning the P5 potentiometer becomes crucial. At 150A, the current transformer's signal registers only 75mA. Post amplification, the CT voltage is merely 3VDC, insufficient for the trigger board to adequately safeguard the system. To address this, recalibrate the P5 potentiometer so that at a 75A current signal, the CT voltage reaches 4VDC. Measure the CT voltage on the trigger board using a multimeter. Check the figure below for the exact position on the trigger board
