P3 Potentiometer: Current Limiting Expertise
The P3 potentiometer masters current limiting with finesse. Its default configuration automatically decreases output voltage when CT voltage exceeds 4VDC, maintaining it below this limit. Users can finely adjust the P3 setting based on specific field conditions for optimal performance.
P4 Potentiometer: Phase Determination Precision

P5 Potentiometer: Amplification Mastery
The P5 potentiometer excels in amplification, adeptly converting an AC 0-100mA current signal into a DC 0-4V voltage, known as CT voltage. The default factory setting is 100mA equivalent to 4V, but it can be finely adjusted on-site for specific needs, such as:
Load Current Selection and Transformer Configuration
1. For a load of 100A: Deploy a 100A/100mA transformer to achieve a precise 4VDC
2. For an impressive 150A load: Opt for a robust and reliable 200A/100mA transformer. This choice is crucial to achieve a precise 3VDC, ensuring peak performance and reliability in your applications.
In the initial scenario, there is no need to alter the P5 potentiometer. However, in the subsequent scenario, meticulous fine-tuning of the P5 potentiometer becomes essential. At 150A, the current transformer's output registers a mere 75mA. Once amplified, this results in a CT voltage of only 3VDC, which falls short of the requirements to adequately protect the trigger board and the entire system. To rectify this, recalibrate the P5 potentiometer so that at a 75A current signal, the CT voltage elevates to a robust 4VDC. Utilize a multimeter to measure the CT voltage directly on the trigger board. Refer to the accompanying diagram below, which indicates the precise location on the trigger board to facilitate your adjustments
