Load Current Selection and Transformer Configuration - Tailoring power solutions to your needs.
1. For a load of 100A: Deploy a 100A/100mA transformer for 4VDC, ensuring precision and efficiency.
2. For a load of 150A: Choose a 200A/100mA transformer for 3VDC, optimizing performance for your specific application.
In the first scenario, there is no need to set the P5 potentiometer. However, in the second scenario, the P5 potentiometer must be adjusted because at 150A, the signal from the current transformer is only 75mA. After amplification, the CT voltage is only 3VDV, which means the trigger board cannot effectively protect the system. In this case, the P5 potentiometer should be reset so that when the current signal is 75A, the CT voltage is 4VDC. The CT voltage can be measured on the trigger board using a multimeter; refer to the specific position marked in the figure below to locate it on the trigger board
