The zero-crossing adjustment type is a sophisticated approach that operates precisely at the sine wave's zero point. P2 Potentiometer – Overcurrent Safeguard
The P2 potentiometer is your reliable overcurrent alarm setting, pre-set at the factory. It triggers an overcurrent alarm when the CT voltage exceeds 4.4VDC, requiring no additional settings under normal conditions.
P3 Potentiometer – Dynamic Current Limiting
The P3 potentiometer is an essential current limiting component. Factory-set to respond when CT voltage surpasses 4VDC, it automatically reduces output voltage until CT voltage drops below 4VDC, offering users the flexibility to adjust according to specific field requirements.
P4 Potentiometer – Phase Determination
The P4 potentiometer is expertly calibrated at the factory to determine phase settings. It is crucial not to alter this setting, as doing so may result in a false trigger, ensuring reliable and consistent operation.

P5 Potentiometer – Amplification Precision
The P5 potentiometer is an amplification marvel, converting AC 0-100mA current signals into DC 0-4V voltage – the CT voltage. Factory-set to match 100mA with 4V, it offers the versatility to be adjusted on-site, perfectly accommodating specific requirements.
Load Current Configuration: Select a Transformer CT Voltage
1. For 100A: Configure to 100A/100mA at 4VDC
2. For 150A: Configure to 200A/100mA at 3VDC
In the first scenario, there is no need to set the P5 potentiometer. However, in the second scenario, the P5 potentiometer must be adjusted because at 150A, the signal from the current transformer is only 75mA. After amplification, the CT voltage is only 3VDV, which means the trigger board cannot effectively protect the system. In this case, the P5 potentiometer should be reset so that when the current signal is 75A, the CT voltage is 4VDC. The CT voltage can be measured on the trigger board using a multimeter; refer to the specific position marked in the figure below to locate it on the trigger board
