Load Current Selection and Transformer Configuration
1. For a load of 100A: Employ a 100A/100mA transformer to achieve a precise 4VDC
2. When managing a significant load of 150A, ensure optimal performance by selecting a 200A/100mA transformer. This choice guarantees a precise and reliable output of 3VDC, safeguarding your system's efficiency and stability.
In the initial scenario, no adjustment is necessary for the P5 potentiometer. However, in the subsequent scenario, precise calibration of the P5 potentiometer becomes crucial. At a load of 150A, the current transformer's output signal is merely 75mA. Once amplified, the CT voltage reaches only 3VDC, insufficient for the trigger board to adequately protect the system. Therefore, it is imperative to recalibrate the P5 potentiometer. This adjustment ensures that when the current signal is at 75A, the CT voltage reaches an optimal 4VDC. Use a multimeter to measure the CT voltage directly on the trigger board;
